The structure of a diamante poem required brainstorming describing and doing words. All the learners were invited to share their ideas about what would be appropriate words to write a diamante poem about ‘summer’ and ‘holidays’. Together, with the relieving learning coach, the learners wrote a shared diamante poem. Ekamjot was engaged and Connecting to her learning through her sharing of ideas ( Collaborative ). She then began writing her own poem independently. The following day, I suggested that Ekamjot type her poem on a Google doc for publishing.
