Learner: Ekamjot Learning Coach: Abby Morgan Date: 27 February 2015 Learning Area: Literacy Learning Observed Today after Ekamjot had completed her writing she asked if she could share it with me. Together we sat as she read me her story. I observed how Ekamjot had listened to the sounds she could hear in the words and had attempted them even when she wasn’t sure. She was displaying her ability to hear the dominant sounds in the words and had correctly begun her sentence with a capital letter and ended it with a full stop. Ekamjot and I talked about what she could do next to help with her writing. Together we identified that a focus was needed on letter size.
